The staff is super-friendly, making it a unique place to stay. the breakfast is delicious, with fantastic omelettes, eggs to order, and freshly squeezed orange juice. - the service is top-notch and includes secure parking.

Appreciated the place, had an amazing stay for a business trip. Warm breakfast selection with freshly squeezed orange juice and assorted meats, everyone could find their favorite food.

There were central heating, a private safe, and a flat-screen TV with satellite channels in the room, thoroughly enjoyed that...

This hotel has only 13 rooms but offers beautifully designed, spacious rooms, two seaside pools, one big and nice fresh water pool, a tennis court, gorgeous tropical gardens and picture quality sea views. The restaurant lists a well deserved 2010 Michelin guide recommendation. All members of staff treat all guests as Royalty. In brief, the Albatroz experience equals the service one expects from the World's leading 5 star hotels. But, much more personalized and at very acceptable prices. As the hotel is very close to the airport, the hotel is the perfect base to start and end a holiday on Madeira or organize an off site corporate event.

the room was good sized and well-kept, we had a mini bar, central heating and an iron. its location was particularly good, in the beautiful a la carte restaurant.

The room was great, had a massive comfy bed that I loved sleeping in 🛏️. the location here is top-notch, you can easily stroll to both the city center and the airport area, which is awesome.

Generally, nothing to add to the previous reviews - excellent small hotel, great views, great garden, big private parking (free for hotel guests), very good breakfasts, relaxing and quiet atmosphere.

This beautiful place located on Madeira Island offers an incredible and picturesque setting, close to the airport and surrounded by lush greenery.

Short distance from airport, picked up by hotel courtesy bus. The hotel is quite small the rooms are spacious and very clean all rooms are sea facing. The staff were very attentitive and friendly. If you want a very quiet peaceful relaxing break, then this is the place for you. There is a large golf course nearby, so can be popular with golfers.

Although some may say the location is great, close to the airport and overlooking the sea, there really isn't anything else there than the hotel facilities. The nearest town Santa Cruz is a 20 minute walk, where you will find a smallish town with a handful of cafe/restaurants, all very simalar but quite pleasant.

A extremely well managed hotel. Staff are excellent and very helpful, rooms are spacious with wonderful sea views. The food is excellent, and the setting superb. This hotel is only minutes from the airport but you would not know it. The pool is wonderful and with the ocean just beyond it makes for a dramatic swim. All in all highly recommended.
